EHS Elevated Horsemanship School
EHS builds a strong foundation on the ground through proper leading, progressive lunging, ground driving and in hand and liberty and grooming to create confidence, fitness and understanding in your horse. Learn the secrets to light responsive aids, straightness, and how to build and condition the correct muscles, tendons and ligaments to gain performance, soundness and strong self carriage. This produces a solid, sane, relaxed horse on the ground before you get aboard, or use the EHS exercises for rehab or elderly horses.

Do you want deep communication with your horse? Do you want to know what steps to take in your training to make your dreams a reality?
No matter what discipline you ride (English, western or whatever), your horse needs to have the proper physical foundation to carry you without injury, pain or miscommunication. And no matter what kind of riding you enjoy, basic age-old dressage training principles apply. (Unlike the show ring dressage that is seen today!)
Are you a rider or handler of horses? Then you are a trainer as well.
There is no holding pattern…you either progress or regress every time out. If you want to progress with amazing results using energy and intention, then we have the program for you.

02
Free lunging / energy work
Free lunging can help the horse explore his/her body, give some physical benefits, connect through energy and more.

For the human, one must be present and willing to accept the horses participation ... or not.
03
Lunging on the line
Lunging is not chasing the horse around in circles like too many think. It's not about getting the P and V out of them before riding. Proper and classical lunging can help the horse systematically progress in strength, self carriage and understanding of exercises without the stress of the rider.

04
Finding your seat on lunge
Even advanced riders can benefit from working with a qualified instructor on the lunge. One can concentrate on their own body without having to 'steer' and become a more effective rider.
05
Free jumping
